Hey everyone!

What’s Monezon?

There as been lots of updates on Monezon since the first post on monero.town

  • We switched to amazon wishlist to hide shipping addresses
  • We added a referral program
  • We added “name your discount”
  • We added promo codes

And much more!

During our first month, we transacted $6279!

We currently have disabled the registration of new executors because we do not have a steady flow of orders yet. Orders are currently instantly taken so not every executor has the chance to process an order.

What can you do to help us?

To help promote this project, you can generate a Monezon referral link (without any account) and share it around you!

For every 3 orders made using your referral, you will earn a $7 discount on your next order!

Thanks for supporting Monezon!

Why not round that xmr value down to the 5th decimal like 45.51671? By the time you get that low each number is worth only 1.4 US mill. Also, put the XMR you transacted first instead of the USD value

Ah, imo the monero should be the one mentioned instead of USD since we dont care about fiat. You did 45 monero in month one, maybe in month 2 it will be 90 monero, but the fiat shitcoin value doesnt matter. You are a Monero business, account in Monero

First thing I thought of as well. Using Monero everyday I am starting to think of value in Monero 😏

I don’t use it every day for sure, but I use it enough that I’m beginning to be able to value an item in Monero just by hearing its price and can generally get a good idea of whether it is expensive or cheap.

Because virtually everything you buy is in USD and virtually everyone understands it’s value. Whereas virtually no one understands the value of XMR before converting to USD.

Right, but if we don’t begin to break away from pricing in fiat, then we will never end up breaking away from it. If somebody wants to convert the Monero to dollars, that’s their responsibility.

Possibly. I view it like learning a new language. At first, you absolutely have to translate the new words back into your native language to understand them. But you cannot do that forever because otherwise, you will not speak fluently and you will be slow to interpret what people are saying and miss things. If you are constantly having to convert the Monero back to fiat in order to interpret it, that is not a good thing. As an example, if you were to offer me a hamburger for 0.1 Monero, I would tell you to fuck off. If you were to offer me a ribeye steak for 0.1 Monero, I would take you up on that offer.

How can we trust the market?

    • does it implement an XMR multi-signature system?
    • do executors publish a public key and sign their XMR addresses?
