Finamp on Android if you are using Jellyfin
Usually a lurker.
Maybe I should’ve just shut up and thought for a bit longer before writing that comment…
If you want to talk to me elsewhere, you know how to reach me.
Finamp on Android if you are using Jellyfin
I do it like that.
8TB external drive on an 11th i5 gen nuc.
Almost every service is dockerized because I can’t be bothered to manage the dependencies.
Havent encountered that issue thus far. Did you try a reset of the iLO?
In that case it seems you are stuck with logging into the ilo web-ui and the java applet or the html player. I am not aware of a linux player.
Your best bet would be to browse the support repository of the hpe page. Maybe you can find a sort of OSS-version someone created.
Edit: Maybe try to run it with proton/wine? That should be fine if you just want to use it to remote into the server
Little application to avoid the login to the web-ui.
Link to download the standalone client: https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/softwaredetails?language=en_US&collectionId=MTX-dc6da387790e42be
Upside: You won’t get thrown out of your remote session while having an ISO mounted.
Upside 2: You avoid having to use Edge, to enable IE legacy mode to being able to use the .NET console.
Imo iLO5 is a big improvement over iLO4.
Also you can download an iLO remote client to not be required to login to the web ui.
Currently ugreen has released some nas systems that seem powerful but have yet to be shipped (reviews are out though).
You can alao invest without influencing?
Why does it matter? The devs make the program not the investor.
The only reason I would refuse the tech was if the investor would try to change the direction of development or is giving out money from questionable sources…
Even then there would be at least that someone that would refuse it or would only sell out for (example) 1 billion €.
Yeah…I should be doing it but I am honestly too lazy to change my compose.
The only place I actually did it is my mongodb container bexause I know absolutely nothing about it.
At lwast I can rescue my traefik config :p
What I personally use and what I plan to do. Maybe it’s worth something for you:
Currently in production:
HW transcoding is fine for single 4K HDR -> 1080p but I probably misconfigured something and it could be better or the linuxserver container is bad.
Don’t care enough to fix it :p
Planned in the future:
Btw: This is my hardware (literal) stack :)
Not the cores but you can get 2x16gb sodimms for something like an Intel (now Asus) NUC. But that won’t be cheap lol.
Dunno if there are 2x32gb kits but maybe some higher end mini-pc has 4 bank ram or even full length dimms.
Wouldnt bother with Gen8. We literally throw them in the e-waste recycle bin.
Either get a Gen9 if tight with cash (also EOL) or Gen10 servers which are currently supported and get current updates.
I ran about 10 orb12 docker containers on my raspverry pi with 4gb of ram + Debian (and OMV5).
Red lined the thing plenty of times.
I mean you can kinda do it with one way syncs (e.g. read only shares and give a friend the code so they can connect to it).
You got the wrong application. Since other users already mentioned plenty of alternatives this comment is also redundant and can be ignored.
Juat an error due to the swarmRefresh setting in the traefik.yml.
Because I am not running in swarm mode it threw an error.
Oh well. Life and learn ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
