To me the real abuse was putting it on social media without obscuring the children.

But people rarely get to the point of deprivation insanity, let alone death.
Go without sleep for 48 hours for no other reason than an experiment. I guarantee you will sleep the third day, even though you technically don’t need to.
That’s exactly how I read it. You don’t have to… but you will want to, and be tired as fuck if you don’t.
You don’t have to, doesn’t mean you won’t want to…
We were meanish with this. If we saw a bunch of rambunctious kids while eating out, we would buy them dessert as we left and tell the server that we were family friends and we wanted to get them all something sweet for one kids birthday… LOL
I thought they blew this all up by just doing a simple correlation of the amount of time spent walking vs health. So instead of walking to your driveway, you walk to the bus stop… etc.
I gu3ss it’s a thing because there is extreme lag between instances. So some have had to wait more than 24 hrs for a comment to show up.
What the flork is going on right meow?
Shit, didn’t notice that. I assumed you would just duck tape the radius and Ulna together against the humerus on the other end…
Not to mention that this is either a tent for little people… or your landlord needs to be a giant. The average human spine is only 18 inches
Reddit went all in the last few days, and tipped their hand. It’s up to us if we have the balls to call, or if we fold. We have the cards, let’s use them, call their bluff and never return.
We need to show them that we care about communities not reddit or subreddits.
They have shown us that they fully intend to kill 3rd party apps. The API is an excuse and they have made that abundantly clear the last few days by announcing that they will prohibit all NSFW material and after randomly blocking some users from using mobile the other day.
They could have killed reddit by a death by a thousand vuts, but they brought out the guillotine… let’s all jump ship before reddit becomes discombobulated.
I also vaguely remember what OP was talking about. It was also factoring in how dirty the energy was being produced was at the time. So if you add electricity is projected to be dirty for x decades plus the environmental cost of the battery manufacturing. But they probably redid the calculus recently as coal plants have been shutting down way faster than initially predicted.
You don’t even need social media. Call person A and keep them on the phone for 15 seconds to get a snippet of their voice. Feed through AI, use that to call person B and extort them or whatever crime you were planning on.
Hopefully more people and communities come over here. I would love to see a Hobbydrama Community on Lemmy.
That seems likely. What I don’t understand is why not just make it so no one could block Elon. He could just make up any silly excuse like “he needs to keep channels open in case of an emergency”. People would roll their eyes, shrug, groan and move on with their lives and forget all about it.
Maybe. But it’s a craft that takes a lot of practice to get good at, and a lifetime to master.
