nothing of value was lost
Googling it takes you to the one company website that has managed to get a service out (a keyless) they haveA really good docs public repository.
I work with these folks thru my job and it’s a pleasure to deal with them (even tho the product it’s a bit complex)
It does my great good to see a company actually being run by engineers
You guys are going to blow your top when you hear about DFC (Distributed Fragment Cryptography)
Damm … I’m a straight men … but you’re making this shit sound good. Maybe I should give it a try
soooo what you’re saying, is that if I fly my turkey into the sun it will be pausterized in 3^n-36 milliseconds?
Can’t have linux without a hint of elitism.
“Im much better than all my other friends who are still using Windows … yuck”
I actually have a Keychron and an amazon clone (royalkludge) and I gotta admit that the RK is 95% of the way there for about half the price
Even more important still … the RK has 2.5GHZ whereas the Keychron only has bluetooth for wireless …
Personally I hate having to press a key and wait a couple of seconds for Bluetooth to resume. The USB adapter solves that
Good investment Jez,
Now get yourself a mechanical keeyboard.
a nice keeb is a must have! They have some cheap ones on amazon for 20 ish or so. The really nice ones cost almost as much as the laptop XD
Enshifitification; now impacting to operating systems too …
At this pace, it could only be worse if they were bought by Broadcom
I’m taking the chance while I can and slowly migrating my lab to Debian
not a bad idea, what is your suggestion? Socialism seems to be working well for the European people, but we’d need some kind of check and balance so it doesn’t descend into the clusterfuck they seem to be going thru (not unlike ours)
I found this interesting tidbit in Wikipedia trying to find where I read my source.
Capitalism 1.0 during the 19th century entailed largely unregulated markets with a minimal role for the state (aside from national defense, and protecting property rights)
Capitalism 2.0 during the post-World War II years entailed Keynesianism, a substantial role for the state in regulating markets, and strong welfare states
Capitalism 2.1 entailed a combination of unregulated markets, globalization, and various national obligations by states
You’re right … It sounds like we need another paradigm shift. Fuck web 3 … we need Capitalism 3 …
Under TRUE capitalism the market is free but regulated as needed.
We don’t live in real capitalism, there is no regulation, the oligarchy has captured the agencies that were supposed to regulate the market.
I don’t even know what to call what we have, plutocracy?
it does my heart good seeing a racing team using their exposure to bring awareness to a good cause
