I have an old laptop with a Transmeta Crusoe CPU. Can anyone recommend a distro that will work on it? I’ll download this one and give it a shot too.

I see it on the High Seas and it is on its way to me.
Thanks for that.
Somewhat curious how CZ has never worked for you. I’ve used it for years and any failures it has had were fixed with tweaking some of the options. I love the tool myself, but I have also never heard of Rescuezilla so thanks for that. I think I’ll give that a go next time.
They were olde by the time I got to administer them and they were failing every so often. They were a pain to work with as I recall, but again no lost data. They would beep with no issues sometimes. One thing that wasn’t their fault was a previous admin had set them up in threes with all but one disk in a raid5 array. They were wondering why performance was crap and one array would just drop every week like clockwork.
Took a while, but I mirrored (VVM) the data off on spare 3500s set up properly. They ran okay then. It was just ancient storage. Glad to work on netapps now. So much smoother and sophisticated storage compared to the olden days. lol

I should’ve done that instead of trying to download that car on olde DSL.
The studies one is always an instant no from me. My CPU cycles are my own to allocate as I see fit. I love FF, but you don’t get that access here.
That aside, FF seems like the only browser left that is interested in having me actually browse the web.
Mine are all toggled off. Seems like a reasonable compromise to me.
I’ve been a FF user for a very long time. I just never understood why folks don’t like it.
Yes, and one of the reasons I want to keep it going. It’s an old Fujitsu and has a cool form factor (another reason). I recycled about a dozen laptops a few months back, but could not bear to see this one go. It came with XP, but I don’t care to reload that at all. Am also downloading older versions of Slack to see if they’ll work.
