30·5 months agoFunny haha, but pidgeons are in every city because it was trendy to keep them as pets. As some people are shitty, they released them out. They make great pets compared to parrots - they are affectionate, don’t scream all the time (which is an evolutionary tactic the parrots use to survive), can be pet on the wings without making the bird unhealthy (parrots get hormonal, you can only touch the head) etc etc. When getting birds in a humane home (i.e. let them out of the cage most of the time) they are a great choice for a first bird. And yet people buy a parrot and are disappointed because it acts like a 5 year old on crack

Well, nah - stress is “almost impossible”. Which means that it is possible, and with disorders it wouldn’t work at all most likely. Without it being 100% every time, I don’t think it is worth discarding other items.
As for functioning as they were trained - the bravery stone would be better I think. Stress is a great motivator, couple that with complete and utter bravery and you have an army that never routes

A lot of people actually, especially for instance because I can take a 1hr drive and be on the autobahn and drive as fast as I deem safe to me.
Nissan leaf can barely go 160km/h. How is that “fast”? If the pricepoint is equal, electric vehicles are slower.

I always wanted to start an overmoderated forum for debating on various topics, bringing it to the “ideal” debate as close as possible. Basically the Venezuela scene from Parks and Rec - you use an ad hominem? Believe it or not, banned. Personal attack? Instantly banned. Arguing in bad faith? Banned. Ignoring everything the other side said and just ranting? Also jail.
