Do they not give out laptops with an Ethernet port? Or is the extra 2lbs too much?
Do they not give out laptops with an Ethernet port? Or is the extra 2lbs too much?
How can something exist if they haven’t made money in 20 years?
How.much debt does the company have that shareholders will be buying into.
I friggin hate it. It’s a company. Sometimes multiple people need access to something we can’t share a cell phone.
Companies that force people to use their supplies are “bad companies”
Make good products with competitive pricing and your customers will use your supplies. Easy.
Yes I agree
But if we get enough people to label it as a failure instead of a secret success maybe elon’s ego will prevent him from doing it again in the future. The more failures the public can lay at his feet also means less political pressure to allow him to get away with shit like that.
So far twitter and hyperloop have been major disasters. Neurolink is probably just a matter of time. Maybe even starlink as it’s way too expensive for most casual uses at the moment, will depend on the price coming down.
Tesla build quality may come up to bit them in the ass in the long run too.
I do hope spaceX survives his blundering though.
Another musk failure
Well most likely it won’t have any left on the shelf, especially if it were something listed in the weekly flyer.
Some of the stores near me have LEDs in the tags so if you’re looking for something and ask an employee they can look it up and turn on the light.
The price tag then flashes so you can find it easier.
They want your data
I’m not sure if the technicalities are possible but instead of deletion perhaps archive?
Rename the community to “Community_Archive” or something so that someone can still make a new community with the same name or reclaim it in the future?
That’s just the 13% who have stopped using it daily I imagine, who were already probably super addicted to it.
Not sure if weekly/monthly users dropping out would be included in that tally. Also it says nothing about activity time from the daily users. It’s possible the users that stuck around may not be using it as much i.e. 1-2 tweets or comments a day now vs 10-20 before.
It’s like Dell selling a PC that only allows Dell approved OS systems to be installed. No Linux or Windows, only DellOS so they can get all the advertising revenue from showing ads on your pc
Eh, people riding an ebike everywhere probably wouldn’t be riding a bike anyways if they didn’t have that ebike. It just offers a larger range of area they can go to. I bet most would just be sitting at home if they couldn’t ride their ebike to their friend’s house or wherever they want to meet their friends.
They won’t have to pay as much for employees to rent an apartment from their company than they would for their employees to rent a San Francisco apartment.
Or tear each other’s throats out and back stab each other until the legacy is ruined and crumbling.
How about you give people the choice?
The best thing about reddit/Lemmy is you can sort content by new, hot, controversial, etc. Depending on what you’re in the mood to view.
Why is anyone allowed to even produce non-recyclable materials?
If it’s made from plastic, tell them they can only make it from plastic that can be recyclable.
Unless it’s used in something like industrial machinery and typically wouldn’t need to be recycled anyways, I don’t see why a ban would be so hard for things like dollar store toys and camping utensils, etc.
“in our effort to reduce spam”
… Sure… That’s the reason…
It probably wouldn’t be able to be exactly like YouTube with regular “shows” but rather like YouTube was at the beginning where people just uploaded their random videos to share.
The sun is 1.4 million km in diameter and the meme suggests the earth’s oceans rise by 5 million km, so 10 million in diameter, so you may be correct.
