Unless you’re a sysadmin who deals with very obscure systems, you’ll always have access to nano, so why bother?

Vim elitists love to brag about how cool Vim is, but pretty much never properly elaborate. Why should I learn all those obscure commands to just edit some text? What’s the point?

Recommending Linux is good; forcing it down someone’s throat is not.

If parents are just comfy using Windows, it’ll get them super frustrated when they’ll face new issues coming from Linux use, as you just can’t turn Linux into Windows and they never asked for it.

Now, if they complain about all the shit Windows throws at them, you can offer an alternative.

I can install Arch blindfolded without archinstall, but I don’t think it is the superior option.

It is either unstable or maintenance-heavy, depending on how you treat it, compared to other distributions.

It is bleeding-edge though, and pretty memory-effective and speedy.

In simple terms: metal is just as much attracted to magnet as magnet is to metal, this is fundamental and doesn’t change under any circumstances.

So the force driving the car forward is exactly equal to the force driving the car backward, and you can’t have one without the other.
