Didn’t know if it was supported but this clears it up. Thanks.
Do I have to use PC receiver or is that unnecessary?
HOLY SHIT! YES! Thank you so much! I thought that drive was a goner. I was on the verge of just buying a new SSD. You just saved me a couple hundred bucks. Thank you once again!
I went ahead tried this but got an error when using makepkg -si
:/home/[username]/ntfsprogs-ntfs3/PKGBUILD: line 45: autoreconf: command not found
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
Aborting...
I went to file in question and line 45 says this: autoreconf -vfi
That’s the thing: I don’t have Windows installed on that SSD. I double checked.
You wouldn’t run a script to ensure the proper functioning of your lungs.
Of course. Just remember this when buying a laptop (and by extension a printer): FUCK HP!
While I’m yet to do it myself, I would suggest getting a Thinkpad T480 and upgrading its RAM. The reason you want a T480 is because it was the last Thinkpad to have user removable parts. One tip: when using eBay, make sure you filter out the T480s. The T480s is not the same as the T480 since it doesn’t have user removable parts.
I’ve been wanting a Framework so bad. When I start working again (which should be soon), I’m going to save up for one.
Thank you! Bookmarking for future reference.
Same here. People erroneously associate these climate changing monstrosities with Republican-voting, rural America but I’ve seen these in my supposedly liberal city way too many times. The worse offenders are college frat boys with inflated egos wasting their tuition on lift kits and oversized chrome wheels. And you’re right about their usage. My dad once had two pickups: an F-150 King Ranch and a Nissan Frontier basic trim. You would think that, even with the luxury features, the F-150 would do the heavy work, right? Nope. The Frontier was always doing the dirty work while the King Ranch was my dad’s crown jewel (before he sold it).
As I mentioned on another thread, I’m trying to reduce my car dependency by walking and cycling more often but I do intend to buy “one more” car; preferably a 80s/90s Toyota pickup but a Land Cruiser 80 series is also in the cards.
I was thinking the same until @Rikj000 responded to my comment. The defeat of the surveillance state (both private and government) relies on us.
Thanks for the tip. Dodged another proprietary bullet.
Good! I’m looking to ditch most search engines (with the possible exception of Searx) since they have become so inundated with so much junk links. Louis Rossmann mentioned in one of his videos that he pays $20/month for GPT-4 since it fetches better results. But I’ll look into this before I do so. Thanks for sharing this.
True. I think I’ll switch to Arch proper soon.
