So the squeaky wheel gets the oil it sounds like. I see a bunch of people in this thread saying it’s a terrible idea. What’s the bar for action?
This, there are more upvotes complaining about the megathred being bad than upvotes supporting it. Either people for it don’t care enough to interact or have just ignored the entire thread.
This is a stifling thread, there will be nothing Elon related posted here (and hasn’t been yet, everything is about megathred) if there is it will not be read. As of my posting the next newest post I see is 17 hours ago. This thread is effectively dead.
In your settings you have likely switched on the bot account setting. Switch it off and see what happens.
I ran into this as well, I changed instances to move away from. Ml, resubscribed to everything and some of them show no commets, post, or users.
That is indeed the place to request it!
The point of federation though, is to spread things out so that no one instance has total control and all the burden of all the communities. Lemmy.ml is already feeling the load from an admin and hardware perspective. Creating a new community on a different instance lightens the work for the lemmy.ml staff and brings more attention to another instance. This strengthens the entire fediverse. You do you if you are dead set on having it on lemmy.ml.
I wish you the best, in both personal and lemmy life.
I would suggest creating a new one so that…Ml doesn’t get bogged down.
Same here. In chrome and brave either one. Any Instance. I figured it was a bug that was being worked on. I have been tolerating until Boost for lemmy shows up.
