I dislike the idea of clicks happening on my behalf, even if done for a “fuck the advertisers” reason.
This is actually pretty cool in terms of tech, although I strongly suspect there’s some real tracking being done that can/will filter out these automated clicks. As a frontend dev, I know click events are pretty strict so I suspect there’s some stuff that needs special consideration here. I haven’t read the source, so maybe they’ve already thought about that. The idea seems slick tho.
One of the many reasons I will always set profiles to hidden anytime I create an account somewhere. My visibility should be null by default.
My wife gave me a bunch with a charger for Christmas like 2 years back. They’re all still in rotation for controllers around the house!
