I think this is what Morgan Freeman meant when he said he had a problem with Black History Month. Having a celebration of all that you are as a people is great, especially for barely recognized minorities, but we need to acknowledge that those minorities still exist and should still be celebrated even after the official festivities are over with.

That was a fantastic documentary. I watched it a couple of months ago and was blown away by how thorough and well done it was. I highly recommend everybody watch this.

There’s a viral meme whereby women are put to the question of “if you were trapped in the woods would you rather be trapped with man or trapped with a bear?” Because a bear is always dangerous whereas men can only occasionally be a dangerous (and possibly something about a man being able to fight off a bear, depending on the source). It’s a dumb hypothetical made up by dumb people to try to redeem toxic masculinity.

The last panel should be the second and third panels and the second and third panel should be 4th and maybe a fifth. I don’t even know if that’s necessary but you get the picture. It should be a bit of a “oh yeah okay, that’s why” when you look at the person who’s on the switch.

The way things are ordered now when you get the last panel it’s more like a “hurr durr, I guess capitalism suck” than a “of course it’s fucking capitalism!!”

I love the concept of this comic but it is put together all wrong.

In the books, wands aren’t just objects. They have a degree of sentience and therefore can conceivably rebel against the user. I imagined there is a compatibility issue with using multiple wands at once that may have been temporarily suspended when Harry used them on Fenrir. Might be cause the wands hated Fenrir too or liked Harry enough to let that one spell go. I don’t know. But in my own head canon the use of multiple wands is untenable because it just doesn’t work out and the wizard is more likely to explode themselves that fire off a good powerful spell and Harry, as always, just has really good fucking luck.

Hard to do that when Grandma is already there with a plate of cookies and a special message from Jesus on how to spot the horrible liberal communist in the room.

Plus Firefox has the same problem that Chrome does. And that problem is the shit ton of ads that pop up every goddamn place.

Brave works for what I need it to do. I don’t like lending credence to bigots(secret or otherwise) but if someone is gonna say “don’t use this browser” they need to list a replacement that has the same functionality. And it can’t be “just use duckduckgo” because we all fucking have that on our phones and none of us can use it as our primary browser and we all know exactly why. 😒
