Fuck. Tankies.
Where can I see these allegations from Madison? I must have missed them.
Edit: I found them, right under this post on my front page lol.
Decent video until Linus gets on and immediately starts making excuses.

Modded Skyrim isn’t a problem, but mod organizer 2’s ui is very glitchy. Most every game I play works fine mods and all. Just don’t expect everything with anti cheat to work.
I reffered to both, archinstall is still text based I think so it can still be intimidating for new users.
That’s what I was referring to. I don’t use it because I have a list of packages I install in a file but the one time I did it was very easy.
It’s mostly fine but has had enough issues over the years I stopped using it for my “I want arch but I’m lazy” distro. Arch itself is really not hard to install these days but if you find it too intimidating endeavor is basically just arch anyway but with an installer.
I didn’t know this was a thing, it explains so much.
That’s nuts, I’m glad I didn’t open my instance up for sign-ups. But yeah if it’s making up the bulk of blahaj.zones costs it’s still going to cost a lot for this to host it so idk why you’d switch, just donate money to blahaj.zone if you want to help with the costs.
Like I just really don’t like dude trying to get other communities to host with him, it just seems too much like centralization and the whole point of this stuff is decentralization.
If you’re unaffected by the downtime go for it I just have concerns regarding Lemmy.world, and ngl it kind of rubs me the wrong way that the instance admin is, at least as it appears to me, poaching communities from other instances to host on his hardware. Was there an issue with blahaj.zone I’m unaware of?
Lemmy.world has had so much downtime lately I’m not sure it’s a great idea to tie yourselves to their instance.
Unless they get a break up the company lawsuit before they do, yes.
I thought nvidis was opening their drivers some as of sometime last year. Still shit though.
So sick of “just use Firefox” as if everyone has forgotten how the last company to bend the web to it’s will using a browser didn’t kill the very thing Firefox was born out of. Either google doesn’t do this or it doesn’t matter if you use Firefox, your browser will either comply or die like Netscape Navigator.
Their desktops, though some of them wind up looking more like home screens than desktops because Linux is just so customizable.
Yeah I just put debian testing on my laptop just to try something new and it’s been great. I’ve been using arch for years but for my laptop I decided I didn’t want to go through the whole process of getting it set up the way I want it and it certainly accomplished that.
If you’re familiar with Ubuntu you could always try Debian.
Removing the do not recommend channel option would be the quickest way to get me to actually just stop using YouTube. Half the people I watch are on nebula anyway and the rest of the time saved well my wife wants me to read more anyway. Ive been a paying google play music/YouTube red/premium subscriber for 10 years but that’ll do it for me.
