right, but I mean in terms of difficulty for one that wants to try lemmy out. since they don’t even have to choose an instance to browse, it is easy even for an average Joe. I’d say it is easier to join lemmy than for example mastodon, which also is easy in my opinion.
the average Joe would download jerboa, then be in. he would browse anonymously, and eventually make an account at the instance he enjoyed the most content from. choosing instance might be complicated, but until then, as long as he is browsing, he is on the platform.
