It’s a joke post. Which makes it extra funny, and quite sad, how many of the comment seem to think it’s serious and are unironically chiming in with complaints.

OPs username is “Peter Poopshit”, I wouldn’t take anything they post seriously.

He’s going full circle by now having it redirect to twitter, and will probably be the main page soon.

It’s the classic of asking people who make unironically sexist jokes to explain what exactly makes it funny.

They tend to either shut up in embarrassment or start talking about how you just don’t “get” the humor and try to move on. Because they know they can’t explain it without looking like an asshole.

Of course he didn’t respond to the 32bit removal, he made his stance pretty clear over a decade ago. The author even said he knew what the answer would be, because how could you be a kernel maintainer without knowing about that email.

So like how doctors are oppressing death and disease?
