I use multiple windows for multiple purposes. When I’m done with one of the windows, I shut it down. I find it to be a decent organisational method, although I still end up with about 20ish tabs regularly

You need to disable resist fingerprinting. It’s annoying, but you can reenable it after you’ve logged in
I think most people who have found themselves on the fediverse are probably not normies, even if they might think so.
I know, it’s just the fact that I use it for pretty much all of my media that I find kinda funny. Goes to show, it’s really an amazing program tho.

SearXNG is my go to. It’s a search aggregator so you have to configure it to select your preferred search engines, but once everything is up and running, I’ve found it’s results to be even higher quality than Google’s

The instance of searx that i use automatically redirected all reddit links to libreddit. It was very fast and distraction free
I like the Ultrachrome CSS mod. It doesn’t massively change the interface - but it looks a bit nicer imo
