I don’t, that’s why I don’t have one either, just a black screen.
Same. Who stares at an empty tab for more than 5 seconds? If I put a wallpaper, I’ll barely see it.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t new major version upgrades of eOS require full re-installations?
Arguing with technicalities when it concerns the health of people is vile.
If you’re on IOS, the Focus feature is great. I use it primarily for sleep to turn off all notifications except for calls (in case of emergencies). But you can basically configure multiple profiles with different notification settings. Also, whenever I install a new app on my phone, I turn notifications off unless it’s a time sensitive app like a messaging app.
Tilda, because I can bring it down my screen with one key any time.
Mint unironically. I’ve reached a point where I’ve got a lot of things going on in my life that I don’t have the time and just need something that works and I don’t need to fiddle around with much.
I actually didn’t know that. Thanks for the tip!
Personally, I’ve never clicked on a video because I saw it on the homepage. When I open the site, I already know what kind of video I want to see and go immediately to search. Homepage recommendations have never been of use for me.
Well that sucks. Venue is farther away from the strip.
The nostalgia!
Haven’t tried openSUSE Tumbleweed yet but I heard it’s a great stable rolling release distro. I might give it a try. How’s the package manager?
Decoupling fb from their messenger would be nice. A lot of people are only on facebook to keep in touch with family who use it, and usually you only need messenger for that.
Tilda, because I like how you can bring it down the screen anytime with one button.
It’s even doing the uwu hands.
They can go for LMDE to avoid the Ubuntu stuff.
Sometime in the late 2000s. Bought a used netbook and didn’t know it was running on Ubuntu. Over the years I went through PeppermintOS, Crunchbang, BunsenLabs, Antergos, Arch, and many others. Now I’m on Mint because I don’t have the time to maintain my OS and just need something that works. The graph meme where long time users end up with a “basic” distro in the end is somewhat true.
I remember in grade school, my school constructed restrooms in every classroom so students won’t need to leave class. The problem was they were literally just a small concrete cubicle and the walls didn’t even go up to the ceiling. That was when I learned pissing straight into the water wasn’t a good idea. I went out to the entire class staring at me.
It’s owned by EFF, which AFAIK is still a trusted org. You might be thinking of Adblock Plus or Ghostery.
