I wonder if that’s been fixed yet. You’d think so…

This dude has been making great videos on Inkscape, I remember seeing one of his videos before. Good stuff.
Huh, well, that doesn’t seem very convenient at all. I’m not all that interested in Ubuntu-based distros, for one.
Still, the ChatGPT bot seems to work well, so that’s pretty cool.
That’s interesting, I’d be interested in finding out more about that. Let’s see, I’ve always wanted to try this:
@[email protected], how do you set up Ventoy for persistent installs of distros? That is, to be able to make changes to the operating system and have them stick?
Interesting! But will changes made to the OS you’re using be persistent? If I’m reading this right, then probably not, right?
Thanks so much!
I tried out your regex suggestions and they resulted in the same error. I was just about to file a bug report when I realised that I had not only filled in the regex in the field for a File mask, but also some filetypes in another field called Exclude files…
As soon as I removed the contents of “Exclude files”, the error went away. Makes sense, I suppose. Now I’m off to figure out how to exclude files with regex as well.
Oosh… Well, as an amateur at all of this, I understand enough of the command line to function. And I’m familiar with at least the basics from this…
I will say I’m interested in getting better with the terminal, but on the other hand I don’t spend enough time behind the screen to justify the needed time investment.
But cool guide nonetheless, fun to read through and maybe see if something sticks in my mind.
Still, if they’d only communicate this and then use it as a reason for some other strategies for making money (without killing all user choice i.e. 3rd party apps), that would be a much more sympathetic way of approaching the issue.
We don’t know if that’s the case, though…
While there’s something to be said for Android vs iPhone from an ideological standpoint, that also doesn’t apply for KDE and Gnome, both of which are OSS, bay-bee
